Exterior invites the viewer to press their ear against the window pane. The basis of communications technology is vibration and the conversion of sonic waves to electrical current which is how we interpret sound. By placing the ear against the pane the viewer engages the acoustic phenomena of hearing and is brought a dimension closer to the outside world.Exhibited IADT, Dublin, February 2008
